Exciting News Part 2: My Ebooks

{The story behind these pictures is last Saturday morning we went on a bike ride. When we got back, Joseph made everyone smoothies & the kids sat out on the driveway & drank them. They found these plastic frames on the ride, & when we got home the kids took turns wearing them while drinking smoothies. They thought they were sooo cool. Proof that the funnest things don’t cost much money.}

{MM} 9.16.2013

I’m mad at Google. I hate that they got rid of their reader (I know, that was so, like 2 months ago).

Now I use feedly, but my curated blog list (a list of some of the blogs I follow, here), is now gone. So I’m starting back at square one. Also I think a good majority of  readers subscribed through Google reader. Phooey.

But good news all you ex-Google readers. You can follow via feedly by clicking here. I do like their clean look & design, it it makes it easy to read & follow blogs.

I had an A+ weekend. It included:

Two Must-Have Cookbooks

 

      Last year my fave vegan cookbook author, Dreena Burton published her fourth cookbook: Let Them Eat Vegan!.

(Check out my interview with her last year, right before it was released.)

She sent me a review copy & I was thrilled to be able to try out some recipes & post them to the blog. But, as we were living in my parent’s basement at the time & I didn’t have my own kitchen & many of my stand-by ingredients, I didn’t feel like I could really do the review justice until I was in my own space.

We moved to San Antonio in mid-December but it took a few months to resurface to normalcy. At that point, I figured it was too late for a review.
