First, thank you for your outpouring of kindness & excitement about the release of my first eBook (is it ebook, or eBook, or e-book? no one really knows) yesterday.
If you haven’t got your free copy, you can get it here.
Also, some amazing comments on Tuesday’s post–I’m impressed with how many of you, regardless of your faith or denomination are committed to giving of yourselves, despite the sacrifices. In addition to the comments on the blog, some of you chipped in on facebook & twitter & further inspired me with your thoughts.
Be sure to read Inkling’s story, as well as everyone else’s insightful comments on the post, here. Jess summed it up best: “I truly believe in giving!” I’m honored that I have such open, giving, & intelligent readers. Thank you for sharing your perspectives & adding to a rich dialogue about things that matter most.
So what do you have in store for the weekend? We have two soccer games, a scouting centennial celebration, & hopefully between it all Joseph & I will squeeze in a movie/date night. I also have a very small baby shower with some of Joseph’s co-workers. If we’re lucky we’ll get in a game of “The Farming Game,” and have time to make at least one of these recipes.
The last best-of post was a success, & I thought I’d do another one, to save you some time trying to scour the internet looking for something delish to whip up in the kitchen. And to be honest, I love showing off other people’s amazing recipes–I’ve often felt there’s no need for me to create anything new–there’s already so much good stuff out there–so here it is.
A note on pinning etiquette: Feel free to pin the top image (it’s mine) from my site, but for all the recipes below, please click on the recipe name below each image & it will take you to the direct site where you can pin the image & recipe. Thank you, you’re a dear.
