About

Hi!

This blog began back in the old days, when people read blogs, circa 2009. For many years this blog was a labor of love–sharing recipes, insights into family life, sharing my pregnancies & subsequent weight loss journeys, as well sharing my passion for plantbased eating & fitness.

In 2016, I stepped away from blogging & focused my efforts on raising my growing family.

In 2022, I decided to step back into the online world & started an online fitness coaching business, specializing in helping moms feel & look their best through simple & sustainable lifestyle changes.

Here’s a little bit about me!

I am a mom to 8 beautiful children, ranging from ages 17 to 1 year old: Hyrum, Asher, Amalia, Salem, Tyndale, Wesley, Alvin, & August (born in the Fall of 2021).

I received an A.S. in business in 2001, & my B.A. in English from Brigham Young University in 2004.

I completed my 200-hr yoga teacher training through 3B Yoga (formally It’s Yoga) in Provo, UT & am certified as a personal trainer & nutrition coach through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

In my twenties I was a group fitness professional, certified yoga instructor, & blogger.

My thirties have primarily been spent raising babies & supporting my active duty US Air Force husband. We have lived all over the world: Provo, UT; San Antonio, TX; Okinawa, Japan; Del Rio, TX; Charlottesville, VA; & most recently, Tokyo, Japan.

I am passionate about helping women, particularly moms, realize their full potential through shifting mindset & daily habits.

I have a special interest in helping pre, pregnant, & postpartum women.

Motherhood is an amazing journey, & it’s my life’s mission to help, love & support fellow moms through teaching them the skills & tools necessary to be fit, strong, & confident.

I am glad you are here & hope I can help.
