{MM} times of transition are strenuous

times of transition quote // bring joy

{Times of transition.}

Times of transition–sums up my life right now.

I mentioned a few weeks ago in this post, that I was taking a course from Bonnie Andrews. (Which FYI, you if you’re a blogger, you can *still* take the course, just click on the link for more info.)

This course has completely rocked my world (no pun intended–the course is called “Rock Your Blog”).

I’ve found myself in a major transition period.

I’m finally in a place where I feel confident in my own blogging shoes. I know what I want to do, I know how to do it (mostly), & I’m bursting with ideas & possibilities.

There are growing pains, however. I learn this lesson on a somewhat frequent basis, & it’s this–I’m only one woman. And I’m caring for five little people, a home, while being the partner & wife to my best friend in this world. So, this means I’m learning how to increase my productivity, to streamline my life, & cut out the unnecessary. To focus on the things that matter the most.

I’ve finally decided that I want to make blogging my profession. I may or may not have said this at any point over the years, but this time I’m focused, I’m determined. It’s what I want to do.

I’m sharing this with you, because it’s an exciting time in my life right now. I have a lot of things going on, but I feel like everything blogging-wise is coming together for me (only took 5 years!). Things are finally paying off, making sense. I’m working with other bloggers, I’ve been approached to do freelance work–it’s a happy place, to be sure.

In this process, I’m learning that I can create the type of existence I want. It’s absolutely up to me. It’s not up to my husband, or my kids, my friends, the weather, the government, or even my moods. The kind of days I want to live, the kind of moments I want to create, they are mine for the making.

In the coming weeks & months, as I figure out what my “new normal” is going to be, I hope you understand I may not post every day. I may not be able to respond to emails & comments as quickly as I have in the past. But I want you to know I read all of your notes & comments. They always make my day, they always inspire me. And I’m always grateful to hear from you.

Thank you for your support & love. I hope you’ll join me in this journey of new beginnings & possibilities.
