{MM} Some awesome flash sales + Christmas cookies!

Happy Monday!

Today’s {MM} post is going to be a bit on the lighter side–I’m busy with holiday activities & Christmas prep, which doesn’t leave a lot of time to scour the www in search of the best & brightest.

On that note, I’ll be posting through the end of this week, but after that, I’m going to take a few weeks off until the beginning of the new year so I can totally focus & enjoy being with my family during the Christmas season.

What are YOU?

I’m doing a poll on facebook today: are you vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, whole-foodist, nutritarian, omni, gluten-free, &/or other?

So far, lots of great, varied responses (there’s no right or “wrong” answer, by the way, I just want to get a better feel for who’s reading my blog).

I especially like Cadry’s response:
“I’m vegan, because I don’t want to cause suffering to others when I have the choice to do otherwise. It makes me feel good inside and out!”

&

Tiffanie’s:
“Omnivorous & want to eat more vegetarian. My husband & kids love meat & would have a fit if I went vegetarian. I recognize that eating large amounts of it isn’t a great idea health wise so we limit meat to somewhat of a garnish to add flavor to dishes. Some days the kids & I go meatless when daddy’s not home. This really isn’t my focus when cooking, mostly I just want to include as much variety & nutritionally condensed meals as I can so we all can get the vitamins we need. And I strictly limit processed foods when shopping, trying to make most things from scratch.”

Lots to say about sex…

Thanks for all your comments (via twitter, email, or on the blog) about last weeks discussion on the importance of sex. So many great insights, lots of unique & individual situations. Overall, I get the feeling it’s something important to you.

And some health/pregnancy related issues.

Lastly, I have kind of a big announcement (?), not really the right word, but something I’d like to share with you tomorrow in lieu of my Frugal Tuesdays post.

I’ve recently being dealing with some pregnancy issues which have required some testing & more visits to the doctors than anticipated. Nothing that will seriously compromise my health or the health of baby Tyndale, but it’s big enough to warrant some major changes in my eating habits & diet. Stay tuned, I’ll share more with you in tomorrow’s post.

Lots of love, hope you have a fantastic start to your week.
