Christmas Postcards + Minted Review & Giveaway

You know how difficult it is to get 3 children & a toddler to pose (in a somewhat uniform fashion) for the family Christmas photo?

I took these whilst on our Thanksgiving excursion.

This was before Thanksgiving dinner & the kids had been playing with their cousins.  Everyone was dressed up in a costume & didn’t want to take them off.

So, instead of fighting with them about it, I thought, eh, what the heck.  Let them wear the costumes.  It’s more authentic, more memorable.  That’s what I tell myself.

This year I’m sending out holiday postcards, rather than a Christmas card, letter, & photo.

Holiday postcards are a somewhat new concept to me, but I think it’s brilliant–less postage, less waste.  You can include a photo (or 2 or 3) & you still have the option of writing a mini-version of a Christmas letter on the back.

I’ll be ordering mine from Minted*.  Have you seen what they have to offer?

I love the variety & style of their photo cards.   I am a fan of their typography–stylish, elegant, modern–you know I’m a sucker for good typography.

And oh, the options.  I still haven’t buckled down & made my choice yet.  But they have a “find it fast” tool where you can upload your photos & see multiple holiday card designs at once.  Makes the whole process so much easier.

You can personalize the design you choose, & they make it easy to do so.  Their prices are extremely reasonable & their products are high-quality & professional.  Love Minted!
