Summer? Ready!

During my 2 week raw foods cleanse, I ate a ton of watermelon & green smoothies.

I think watermelon is a near perfect food.  It’s slightly sweet (not too sweet, like mangos).  If you pick a good one, it should be crisp & juicy.  It’s water rich, so not only are you filling your belly but you’re also hydrating your body.  All that water will replenish & rehydrate your skin helping to give a healthy glow.

Another thing I love about watermelon?  Very little prep involved.  Cut into slices & eat away!

I often ate watermelon & a smoothie for my first meal of the day.

Here’s the recipe for one of my fave green smoothies.  Simple & quick!
